JUANA

“Janua” is a spectacular videomapping that brings together three arts: sculpture, videomapping, and sound composition. This work is produced as part of the Interreg VideoMap project and created by Rémi Soyez (images), Fred Martin (sculpture), and Malik Djouad (music).

“Janua”, or the opening of doors to the soul. In many tribal cultures, paintings and masks reflect the evolution of the individual within their community. And when shamanic rituals take place, the mind becomes clouded and its most primitive states escape, the very ones that sooner or later bring it back to the starting point.
