Videomapping on the Crachet Terril
Videomapping on the Crachet Terril
Clément Lesaffre is a French artist recognized for his visual creations projected onto the terrils (coal spoil heaps) of northern France. His work explores mining heritage through a narrative and sensitive approach, blending testimonies and collective memory. Each piece aims to elevate these industrial landscapes by giving them a poetic dimension.
On February 13 and 14, an incredible experience awaits you with a monumental projection of faces on the Crachet terril in Frameries. This visual experience will be designed through a rigorous process: collecting testimonies from local residents, conducting interviews, compiling and editing the accounts, before staging them via projection.
The show, lasting 20 to 25 minutes, will run continuously during the two evenings of February 13 and 14.
