Thank you for making Mons shine with us!
The 2026 edition of Mons en Lumières has come to a magnificent close. So many of you walked the 3 km trail through our historic center to discover the 17 installations that transformed the city. Thank you for your enthusiasm and your presence!
The magic continues! The luminous journey isn’t quite over yet. Join us on February 13th and 14th at SPARKOH! for an exceptional extension of the festival. Get ready for a brand-new immersive experience in a unique scientific and technological setting.
Continue the Mons en Lumières experience at SPARKOH!
At each edition, Mons en Lumières expands into a neighboring municipality to bring the event to another place and attract a wider audience. It is always a smaller‑scale event, made up of one or two installations. But above all, it allows the residents of these municipalities to enjoy a bit of magic near them and to continue enjoying the wonders of Mons en Lumières.
This year, the partnership was formed with the municipality of Frameries and the SPARKOH! site, built on a magnificent industrial site, the former Crachet‑Picquery coal mine.
On the weekend of 13 and 14 February 2026, SPARKOH! opens its doors for two evenings and one full day entirely dedicated to light phenomena, visual art and immersive experiences that will reinvent these spaces into a unique, living experience in Belgium.
It is a free programme, open to everyone, where science and the magic of light meet to put on an unforgettable show — including inside our buildings!
Two artistic lighting installations will beautify the site, along with activities over the two days:
