Tadashi Kawamata: from Mons en Lumières to the Museum of Fine Arts

Were you amazed by his Tree Hut in the Park installation during Mons en Lumières 2025? The adventure continues! The internationally renowned Japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata will soon be featured in a new exhibition at the CAP – Museum of Fine Arts of Mons.

Starting April 12, 2025, as part of the exhibition Pulsations. Visages d’une Cité, he will present a brand-new immersive artwork: a monumental fresco covering all four walls of a museum room, complemented by his iconic suspended huts. This unique installation will transport visitors into a reimagined urban forest, continuing his work on Place du Parc during Mons en Lumières.
