Mons en Lumières returns with a second edition that promises to transform the city’s historic center into a luminous and artistic canvas. From January 30 to February 9, 2025, let yourself be carried away by an immersive light route with the theme “Between Earth and Sky.”
17 Installations to Illuminate Mons
This edition features 17 light works spread over a 3 km route, showcasing local, national, and international talents. Each installation explores fascinating concepts, blending nature, technology, and urban poetry.
Highlights of this edition include:
- Tree Hut in the Parc by Japanese artist Tadashi Kawamata, with wooden huts made from recycled materials suspended in trees, enhanced by projections and an atmospheric soundscape created by Mike Latona. A piece that invites reflection on our connection with nature.
