For three years, Double Flux has been traveling the world’s art scenes, captivating audiences with its modularity and ever-evolving architecture. This installation consists of 96 motorized light bars that, through real-time control, generate fluid and organic movements. Variations in speed, amplitude, and phase sculpt a living, ever-changing form, creating the illusion of a perpetually evolving object.

The music, composed by Grégory Sémah, interacts with the light movements, amplifying the emotional impact of the piece. The audience is immersed in a visual and sonic universe where technology fades away, giving way to a poetic experience.

The Athénée Royal de Mons, with its simple and repetitive architecture, serves as the ideal backdrop for this installation. Double Flux integrates seamlessly into this setting, offering visitors a rediscovery of the space in a new light. The work also aligns with eco-friendly principles: its low energy consumption and use of recycled materials reflect the environmental commitment of Collectif Scale.

This installation, both technical and poetic, perfectly embodies the theme Between Earth and Sky of Mons en Lumières 2025, offering a futuristic vision of nature augmented by technology.
